Trade Mission on Clean Energy – Gochioco was invited and joined an executive delegation for the US Dept. of Commerce Clean-Energy Technologies Trade Mission to India and China.  The US government recognized that the economies of India and China are growing rapidly and will have need of American technologies to improve efficiencies, reduce CO2 emissions, and diversify their energy resource base to lessen their dependence on imported oil.  Due to prior commitments, Gochioco only joined the delegation on the trip to China from April 20th to 30th.

Coal Company Projects – Requests for field services came early this year as winter time is usually the slowest months of the year.  To meet the energy demands of the country, coal has to be mined daily.  Thus, increase requests for geophysical services can be expected.

Surface site investigations prior to data acquisition are usually
conducted to ensure field productivity and safety.
